Infrastructure Construction Operations Management Institute (ICOM) is recognized by Central Electricity Authority (CEA), under Ministry of Power, Government of India for imparting training to technical graduates, Diploma Holders as well as working professionals in power sector.
It is a venture of Sunil Hi-tech Engineers Ltd, a limited Company having pan India presence in construction, operations and maintenance of power stations, transmission & distribution and other infrastructure projects. 

ICOM cater to the requirements of power companies by developing competent and skilled manpower as well as creating employment opportunities for graduate and diploma engineers in the power Industry. 

ICOM has state of the art training facilities like AC classrooms & AC seminar hall equipped with audiovisual devices, Library and information center having computer based training packages, latest study material and multimedia facility, Model room having miniature engineering models of power plant equipment and construction tools, and a dedicated team of highly qualified and experienced faculty members having wide experience in construction, operation and maintenance of large thermal power stations and management skills. 

Principal Director’s Message:

As per the projection of Ministry of Power, large amount of investment is planned in Power and Infrastructure projects. There is shortage of skilled manpower as the technology is fast changing. In order to meet this challenge public/ private sector power companies will need this trained manpower. ICOM Institute with the support of Sunil Hitech Engineers Ltd. will contribute to national development by creating, trained and skilled manpower for power industry. The faculties are experienced professionals from power sector. The institute strives for all-round development and putting more emphasis on practical training thus bridging the gap between academic institutions and industry.

ICOM vision is to create skilled manpower for different engineering streams viz. Power/ Construction/ Manufacturing etc.

B.E. (Mech.) M.Tech (Production Engg.) from VNIT, Diploma in Business Management, Diploma in Industrial Relations & Personnel Management form Nagpur University, having 31 years experience in Power Generation, 3 Years in Mechanical Erection & 2 years in Training Area.

Arvind Bhalerao Dy. Director
B. E. (Mech.), M. Tech. (Heat power Engg) from VNIT , 1st class Boiler Proficiency Engineer (GOM), Accredited Energy Auditor (BEE), 34 yrs. O&M Experience in Thermal Power Station.

ICOM MISSION:

The institute has been imparting training since last 3 years. ICOM institute successfully trained 197 engineers in eight batches so far. Enrolment for New batch is in progress .

Training Methodology

• Training Methodology for Operation & Maintenace.
• 4 months class room training with plant visits
• 2 months practical training (Scheme tracing, simulator training etc.) at Reliance Power Plant 250 MW capacity at Dahanu, Mumbai.
• 6 Months on site training at Sunil Hitech’s sites. last 4 month with stipend 12K for Degree holders & 10 K for diploma holders with free accomodation and transpotaion.
• Training Methodology for Infrastructure Batch
  • Class Room Training & weekly Visit to Infrastructure sites duration. 3 months
  • 9 months on site training with stipend 12 k for degree holders and 10 k for diploma holders.
